Duct Tape Holiday Stocking

Duct Tape Holiday Stocking

Materials:
Duck Tape (2 colors), Scissors or Craft Knife, and a marker
Time to Make:
30 minutes - 1 hour

  1. First, create two "sock" like shapes that are 16 inches tall, and 10 inches wide. Make sure that they are opposite each other (so that they fit together with the correct colors on the outside).Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 1
  2. Now place them on top of each other like shown.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 2
  3. Draw an outline like shown using a marker.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 3
  4. Cut them out.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 4
  5. Now lets add the heel part. Take a few strips and cover a portion of the heal. Then using small pieces of the sock color (orange in my case), make an arch from on end to the next.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 5
  6. Then use some more strips of the sock color and cover up any remaining green showing outside the arch.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 6
  7. Do this to both pieces, it should look like this.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 7
  8. Cover the top with about an inch to two inches of the same color you used for the heel.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 8
  9. Bend them back like shown.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 9
  10. Place the two sides on to of each other.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 10

    , tape the pieces together.

  13. For the top part of the stocking, it is just easier to use one long strip, instead of a bunch of small pieces.Duck Tape Holiday Stocking Step 13
